Professional Services Consultant

Purpose of the role - how it adds value

  • To work closely with the Account Management, Sales and Client Service teams to provide pre-sales support, post-sales support and consultancy services to customers.
  • Drive client loyalty/satisfaction by ensuring high reliability and performance of Digita services and products.
  • Identify and cultivate opportunities to derive revenue from added value opportunities across the customer base.

Main responsibilities of the job

  • Provide technical assistance to the various customer facing teams, answering client configuration questions and carry out product installations as well as other consultancy services.
  • To advise and assist the development teams with the implementation of IT and SQL database related content within the product range.
  • Provide assistance to clients in assessing the suitability of currently installed services, software and infrastructure for current and future industry and market requirements. As new products become available, provide guidance on the benefits, features, and application of these products in the client's environment.
  • Serve as an escalation point for client technical issues (either service or installation related).

Experience: relevant experience for the role

  • BS/MS/MBA in such fields as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of accountancy and other professional markets with an emphasis on the role and importance of compliance software and the associated technology platforms.
  • Experience with applications to support the accountancy profession.
