Please ensure you backup your database using the Digita Database Backup tool before applying any updates.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Digita Contact Manager and Digita Document Creator are now part of the Digita Practice Management Software. All users are recommended to upgrade to Digita Practice Management 3.1 as soon as possible to benefit from the enhanced features of the above modules.
Digita Practice Management 3.1
This is an essential update to all Digita Contact Manager users.
One of the major changes in our Digita Professional Suite is the addition of Digita Practice Management which now incorporates Digita Contact Manager as part of it's features.
If you are an existing Digita Contact Manager user - after installing you will be able to use all the functions of Digita Contact Manager as per your license agreement. You will also be able to use all the functions of Digita Practice Management on an evaluation license. This will expire in a later software update at which point those features will be locked.

Installation Notes:
If you are upgrading from Digita Practice Management 3.0, in some circumstances the Master report templates and stylesheets can be overwritten.
If the following circumstances apply to you:
- you have not amended your Templates Location (in Tools | Options | Defaults | Report Settings)
and
- you have edited your Master template e.g. to add a company logo or you have edited the supplied stylesheets e.g. to change the default font used in reports
You will need to backup your master templates and stylesheets before applying the update.
To backup these files go to the installation folder e.g. C:\Program Files\Digita\Practice Management\Reports
Copy the folders named “Master” and “Stylesheets” to somewhere safe.
You can now upgrade. After the installation you should replace the newly installed folders with the backups you made earlier.

Instructions:
Download and save this file to the main PC/Server, extract the files, then run the setup.exe file that is in the Digita Practice Management folder. If you are running a network installation the nodes should update when you next open the software.
